In the 12+ years I've worked with high school students to prepare them for college and beyond, I've had the privilege of working with families who have a family member on the autism spectrum. In many cases, parents talk about how difficult it is to find funding for college or trade school. This list was created with those families in mind. Scholarships on this list are created specifically for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or are open to many students with ASD.
#1.Disability Awareness Scholarship

Incight is a non-profit organization that supports and promotes important aspects of life education, employment and independence for people with disabilities. Each year, the organization typically awards 100 grants worth about $500. Grant renewals start at $750. Applicants must have a proven disability. In addition, applicants are also required to attend post-secondary education during the funding cycle after applying for the scholarship. The Disability Scholarship Program is administered by a Michigan law firm called Buckfire & Buckfire, P.C. Sponsored. The scholarship is valued at US$1,000 and is awarded to a student who is a US citizen and is currently attending an accredited college or university.
