Ashish P. Sheth, MD - President

dr Sheth graduated from the Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Memorial Medical College in Amravati, India. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Jersey Shore Medical Center.

dr Sheth is affiliated with Thomas Memorial Hospital, where he has served on the hospital's peer review committee since 2005. He also served as Chair of the Department of Medicine and Family Medicine in 2005.

dr Sheth lives in Cross Lanes with his wife Falguni, who is a respiratory therapist and assists in his medical practice, WV Primary Care. Together they have a son and a daughter.

Jonathan P. Lilly, MD – Vice President

Dr. Lilly earned his BS in Chemistry from Marshall University in 1985 and his MD from the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine at MU in 1989. He also completed his family medicine residency at Marshall, where he served as chief resident in his third year.

dr Lilly is a board-certified family medicine practitioner and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He is a partner at Dunbar Medical Associates, PLLC, where he has spent his entire career. He retains active privileges at Thomas Memorial Hospital where he served on various committees.

In addition, Dr. Lilly has served as Medical Director at several care facilities in the Charleston area and became Advisory Corporate Medical Director for American Medical Facilities Management, Inc. (AMFM) in October 2016. He was recently elected Medical Director of the Aledade West Virginia Accountable Care Organization (ACO), a nationwide organization of independent primary care physicians committed to a values-based model of care.

He and his wife, Kathryn, reside in Winfield and have four adult children who live in the area.

Kaserne-Ayne Amjad, MD, MPH - Secretary

dr Amjad has been appointed State Health Officer and Commissioner of the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources, Office of Public Health. In this capacity, she is ex officio secretary to the Executive Board. She lives in Beckley and has been a doctor in private practice since 2010, specializing in internal medicine and prevention. She is also Associate Program Director for Encompass Health in Princeton and Medical Director for PCH Home Care in Beckley.

dr Amjad has a BS in Biochemistry from Virginia Tech, an MPH from West Virginia University and her MD from Marshall University. He also studied internal medicine at Allegheny General Hospital.

Previously, she was project coordinator for the Beryllium Research Team, National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, and Fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She is the founder of Bee-Better, a non-profit organization to combat opioid addiction, and is a member of the Beckley Human Rights Commission.

Kishore K. Challa, MD, FACC

dr Challa is a board-certified specialist in internal medicine and cardiology and is a member of the Credentials Committee and Chair of the Department of Cardiology at Thomas Memorial. He is also a member of the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Chest Physicians, and the Kanawha Medical Association. dr Challa is the President of South Charleston Cardiology Associates. In February 2013, he received the West Virginia Distinguished Award from Governor Earl Ray Tomblin. In 2014, the American Heart Association gave him the Heart of Gold Award.

dr Challa and his wife Jalasree have a son and a daughter.

Reverend Harman is a deacon, associate of St. Mark United Methodist Church in Charleston, and also serves as campus pastor of the University of Charleston. She and her husband, John N. Harman IV (Newt), reside in Charleston. She has sung as a mezzo-soprano with the WV Symphony Chorus for the last 20 years.

For the West Virginia United Methodist Church, Rev. Harman leads the Conflict Transformation Teams and has served as the Chair of the Board of Ordinated Ministry. She is a WV Licensed Professional Counselor and Social Worker.

Radhakrishna U. Kukkillaya, MD

dr Kukkillaya is currently in private practice with the Sathish and Radha Internal Medicine Group in Logan and an attending physician at the Logan Regional Medical Center. As a specialist in internal medicine, he serves as Director/Chair of the LRMC's Quality Resource Utilization and Management Committee. He chairs the medical center's mortality committee. He serves as the Medical Advisor to the LRMC on case management/utilization/quality issues and is a member of the hospital's Medical Executive Committee.

Previously, he was Chair of the LRMC Medical Staff, Chair of the Medical Executive Committee, Member of the Hospital Board of Directors, and Chair of the Credentials Committee and Medical Department.

Known as "Dr. Radha,” earned his BS and BS degrees from Kasturba Medical College in India and his MD in Internal Medicine from United Medical Center in Newark, NJ. He was the senior resident of the Internal Medicine Residency program at United Healthcare System in Newark, where he was selected by the program as their 1994 Best Intern. He and his wife Sandhya have one daughter and two sons.

Ms. Mayfield is an Associate Broker at Real Estate Central, 2019 Chair of the Kanawha Valley REALTORS® Board, Director of the WV Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors, Secretary of the WV Futbul Club and a member of the Board of Directors of Thomas Healthcare Systems.

Kiran R. Patel, MD, FACOG

dr Patel is a gynecologist who has been in practice for over 20 years. Born in Birmingham, England, he is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Society of Laparoendoscopic and Robotic Surgeons, the American Association of Certified Gynecological Laparoscopists and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.

He is Clinical Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, Clinical Professor in the Physician Assistant Program at Alderson Broaddus University in Philippi, and Clinical Instructor in the PA program at the University of Charleston.

dr Patel received his medical degree from Kasturba Medical College in Manipal, India before completing an internship at Kasturba General Hospital, a residency in family medicine at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Yonkers, NY and a residency at Ob-Gyn at the university of the Wisconsin Sinai-Samaritan Medical Center. He still has an active medical license in Wisconsin. He and his wife, Leela K. Patel, MD, own and operate Patel & Patel, MD, Inc. of South Charleston. You have two children.
