How do you use youth complex? ›

Youth Complex provides rapid initial hydration for visible plumping of fine lines and wrinkles, promotes controlled exfoliation, and is clinically proven to support the foundation of healthy skin. Apply a small amount to clean skin, smoothing evenly over face and neck (or as directed).

Apply a small amount (or 1-2 drops) to the palm of hand. Using fingertips, dab and smooth evenly around the eye area, face, and/or neck.

The directions state that you can use it daily, but this system has worked really well for me.

It's easy to smooth the product over your face and neck since it is water based, but once it's touched your skin, it has a slightly tacky feeling for a small amount of time. I chose to use the serum twice a day, both morning and night.

About 3-4 drops of the face serum are enough to lightly cover your entire face.

Squeeze 2-3 drops of the Drops of Youth™ Youth Concentrate into your hands and massage into the skin. Let it sink in. This bit is really quick. Slather on your day or night-time moisturiser and lock in that good hydration.

On dry skin, gently pat 2-4 pumps of the Energy Serum into your skin for optimal absorption. Then go in with a moisturizer like the Superfood Air-Whip Moisture Cream before finishing up with a hefty dose of SPF.

According to the directions, you only need 2 pumps to cover the face and about 20 seconds of massaging time to allow clumps to form. After which, you can use a washcloth/cotton pad/face sponge to remove the clumps (along with any dead skin and impurities that it managed to grab hold of).

Skin is left soft and smooth, and it's a good option for those with sensitive skin or who are scared of the exfoliating heavyweights, but those who are after a more serious peel will find it underwhelming.

It reduces fine lines and wrinkles and skin is firmer. I put a couple of drops on my face before makeup, especially on under eye wrinkles,spread it out quickly and tap lightly on skin until it dries(very quickly) It really works.

Apply an even layer to clean, wet skin. Leave on for up to two minutes allowing enzymes to activate. Add water and gently massage in circular motions to complete resurfacing treatment. Rinse off.

You can layer this mask over your favourite oils or actives, or just wear it on its own for a simple, yet effective, routine! I find it works amazingly after a retinol treatment to really lock in moisture and protect from the sensitizing effects that can result from retinol.
